It takes a long time for them to dry out in the skillet. I put dollops of mashed potatoes in the skillet on low and form with the spatula, probably takes 20 minutes before I can flip them.Every, spelled e.v.e.r.y. time I've evered tried that it was a gloopy inedible mess. Ozzie didn't even want it.

I managed 4 bites. My grandson decided he was going outside (it's past 9pm here) so I went outside to usher him in, and by the time I got back, the dog had devoured half of it.
Well I do a batch of them at once in a large skillet and refrigerate the ones I'm not using immediately. They heat up quick and easy and are great topped with cheese and eggs. I'm not fond of using fillers.That explains it. Outside my patience clock and too early for drinks...

Oh boy, but you would laugh at my waffle maker. It's a mini-waffle iron and it's as basic as it gets, but it works just fine. I paid $8 for it, some no-name brand from Amazon.Make sure you get one with a thermostat!View attachment 130049
I had one of those from Walmart, $10, and it's sole purpose was to make waffles that fit in the toaster. I used it until it broke. I don't have room for waffles in the freezer so mute to replace.
