Those potatoes look very interesting.
They're sold as "mixed" potatoes - some baby golds, baby reds, and baby purples (or blues).

Just halved and simmered for about eight minutes, maybe, then drained and tossed in salt and pepper, butter, and olive oil, with a little fresh parsley stirred in at the end.
 
Last nights appetizers.

These are large oysters, average 6" lengthwise. Very brinney. They come from Cape Cod. Saving the Little Chubbies for tonight. Had fully loaded baked potatoes as a side. They were a real struggle to open as my oyster knife is very flimsey.
 
So today,

For Ray I am making fried Calzone, I make quite small as he can eat a good number. I am filling with Tropea onions, some roasted tomato, basil and pecorino. I have made the dough and rolled with fresh Oregano in. These I will deep fry. I serve him with salad and homemade coleslaw. He really likes them!
