Braised, Spanish spiced pork cubes on romesco. Patatas bravas, ate mine plain, Craig dipped in romesco. Spanish green beans and garlic, with some mushrooms that were leftover and getting ready to go bad.
I was told that Wasabi is actually milder than horseradish by a fair amount.Yep - I've actually got to taste some of the real thing in Caracas, of all places.
Very green, and very hot!

Standing Room Only.SRO?
We've had both fresh. Obviously, the horseradish is much, much larger than the wasabi plant, at least what's commercially available here. Both are pretty potent when you put your nose to them or taste freshly grated. I personally wouldn't do either test with either plant again. Once was enough.I was told that Wasabi is actually milder than horseradish by a fair amount.
But like all of these things it depends on what you mix it with it what concentration.
I wouldn't want to eat either wasabi or horseradish unadulterated!![]()

I bought some fresh horseradish at a grocer before and it wasn't much until you got to a 'fresh layer'! It was like getting hit in the face with nerve gas.I was told that Wasabi is actually milder than horseradish by a fair amount.

I’ve bought it twice but the second time I remember thinking URGH why have you bought this again?!I bought some fresh horseradish at a grocer before and it wasn't much until you got to a 'fresh layer'! It was like getting hit in the face with nerve gas.Since I paid for it I used it but it took a while...
