Interesting.
I was just saying the other week how I never see veal.
And here they are putting it in meatloaf in OH.

Thanks
We have the 3 meat mix here as well, regular grocery and Italian market. Do you have a BJ's store where you're at? They have the meatloaf/meatball mix. I'd imagine Costco and Sam's also have.

No BJ's that I know of.
There's a Sam's Club, but I try to avoid that area. Traffic is maddening. Too close to the mall.

We can get this:

Other places will have the three meats separated so you can see each one clearly.
I suppose it means they can use all the sweepings from the killing floor without concerning themselves what animal they came from, environmentally friendly n all that 😜

Today I cooked a slow cooked lamb dish. Somewhat Greek inspired, with white wine, lemon, olives and potatoes. I'll try to take a photo tomorow.

Today I've eaten an egg on toast (for lunch). Tonight I'll probably have a plate of vegetables: sprouts, potato, cauliflower and a Yorkshire pudding with gravy.

As promised, a new experience today. Rodizza Pizza
You walk in, sit down, and the clock starts. 90 minutes to eat everything and anything in sight, if you want. Drinks are extra, but a 50% discount for the over 70s definitely makes a difference :D
Waitresses started coming round with pizzas, neatly sliced into 8 pieces. I think we tried every single one except for the ranch chicken. pork belly and Mexican. My particular favourites? the rustic, the Italian and the leek and bacon. The dessert pizzas , for us, were dire, but the other customers were whacking them down.My son (who has cerebral palsy) ate so much (he doesn't know when to stop) that he couldn't stand up at the end. We had to wait another 10 minutes until he was able to walk out!
