What did you cook or eat today? (November 2025)

FulMedamestosphot.jpgBreakfast - Ful Medames, regional variation using long/slow-cooked leftover pinto beans. The simple minimalist version a la Claudia Roden - plain beans with additions of choice at the table: a drizzle of ev olive oil, chopped onions (green), chopped gresh mint, squeeze of lemon, freshly made flatbread to accompany.

edited to add:
Plus my chimmichuri version in the small jar - hot, spicy, pungent, tart - good on everything

I'll have to try it with pinto beans. I've got pounds of those. 👍

Lunch today.
I made a half sheet tray full of these little gems.
Pillsbury® Ham & Swiss Pinwheels
Simple to make.
Pillsbury® Crescent Sheet filled with your favorite meat and cheese, rolled up into a log, sliced and baked.
I haven't made this in a while, but I recall last time I did, it was filled with sliced Pepperoni & shredded Mozz.
DH was over the Moon. He said they're like mini Stromboli, but better.

Nice!
I've always meant to buy some of those pillsbury things. It seems like you can do a lot with them.
