Last night we went to Buddha stix. Last time there it was disappointing. They've stepped up their game. It was 10/10 I had satay chicken sticks. Then lemon chicken and salad. Nothing today as yet.

I wanted to BBQ but I didn't have access to a smoker so I Sous Vide some Pork Shoulder overnight for about 14 hours and it was pretty tasty. I marinated it in some Adobo paste while I SousVide it as well!

Tasty mate, 9/10 I deducted 2 points for uneven butter spreading but replace 1 for symmetrical marked mash. Bravo!

Fried calves liver cooked pink, fine sliced cabbage fried low and slow in bacon schmaltz, onion gravy made with old chicken (kokos) stock.

The liver was succulent.

Well Yorkers mate, it was hardly the Italian Job but I really liked it. As I haven't driven on your side of the road for the last 2 years it was quite freaky. I would like to see a walk through of a market ?

Some Brit correct me if this is wrong. It is my understanding is that it is shepherd's pie if it uses lamb (shepherds tend sheep), and cottage pie if it uses any other meat. Is this correct?

Correct, shepherd's pie uses lamb, cottage pie uses beef, hunter's pie uses venison.
