Sydney has properly reopened now and I had a chance to go into the city & meet my niece for dinner & drinks. We had Korean fried chicken burgers & local beers for dinner and had Negroni for dessert.

Ok. More than one. I’ve just eaten a pulled pork bun after getting off the train.
So nice to read about opening up.👍
Glad you enjoyed your time going out.

Yes. It kind of looks like a bread pudding soaked with a sauce.

CD
Sticky toffee pudding is normally a sponge (think Victoria sponge cake) with treacle or golden syrup in it, then the sauce is a toffee fudge sauce usually, the sponge aiming to soak up the sauce. Fantastic served with a clotted or whipped cream of some sort.

I've been up early with no coffee and off to some medical specialist appointments. Then I went for groceries and spent time putting them away.

So, today's meal was a quick microwave baked potato, - something I have done before.

Just got home, the inland drive was quite an experience  . We stayed an extra day on the coast road coming back in Nuem. Nuem is a finger of land that bisects Croatia, it was awarded to Bosnia as access to the sea after the war.We stopped for lunch at a hotel next to the road, it was sunny and 23c. We both liked the view and decided to book in, have a swim then eat. The bucket of mushroom soup with bread was 3 Bam about £1.25 just for me. The Civappi and chips was 12 Bam about £ 5.00. The view was priceless. Podgorice Montenegro was great. More pics later when I have recovered.

Tuesday morning brekkie before we left Podgorica. The Montenegrins call it Pita, Its their version of Burek. I had meat and onion Pita and yogurt, Mrs B had cheese and blitvah Pita with yogurt. The Monty's currency is the Euro. The bill for both of us was 3.20 Euro. As you can see Mrs B was begging for contributions.

Good morning Cooking Bites members and lurkers. My breakfast for this morning was two Jimmy Dean sausage, egg and cheese biscuits (instead of the muffins), a hash brown patty, two kiwis and a glass of cranberry pomegranate juice.
