Steak sandwiches made from preformed steak patties are a SW Ohio specialty!

They come two ways, usually - with a mushroom gravy or with pizza sauce, onions, and peppers and served hot on a pillow-soft hoagie roll.

They’re best purchased out of a pass-through window in the back of a dive Mom-and-Pop carry-out convenience store in some podunk town where they’ll have a little griddle set up on one table and a little card table with the fixings on another table, and you’ll get it hot and wrapped up tight in some tinfoil.

I'd be willing to bet that that is nothing like what McD's serves up.

What’s McD’s monopoly? Maybe you get a good one, maybe you don’t?

Yes, I wondered about that too.
Can I get a Park Lane burger, with wayguu beef?
Or if I ask for a side of pickled onions, do I not get to pass "GO" or get a free happy meal?

That was unexpected.
That's what I use on Big Macs. And Reubens.
But I'm sure they tasted great. An under appreciated sauce.

I'm not a fan of Thousand Island. I think if rascal tried traditional cocktail sauce he'd go nuts. With joy.
