What did you cook or eat today? (October 2025)

Um, no need to be concerned about a low-carb diet, is there? I mean, sugar is nearly as bad, isn't it?
Actually, Sara at the groomers likes them and since she "sells" the plates I figure that would be an appreciated reward. I don't remember the last time I ate a candy bar. Shoot, they cost as much, or more, than I'm allocated for a lb. of meat...

Trotters over chocolate... That's a thought eh??? 😄

I'd skip making the deep fried chocolate bars for her. She would probably be happy with it still wrapped in paper.

Yeah, I like chocolate, but I am not a chocoholic. I haven't eaten any in several months.

No photos, we were just too dang hungry.
Fish Taco made with grilled Cod fillets, topped with the diners choice of:
shredded lettuce
diced sweet white onion
avocado
sliced radish
diced tomato
salsa
green hot sauce
all on charred flour tortillas

it was like a fish salad on a tortilla

Made a delicious open faced chicken & leek pie, but it was a disaster anyway because I forgot the eggs for the filling. So it was very runny. Good news was that it still tasted good 😆

Camping near Pine Mountain Georgia. Whenever we are in the area we always go to a little Jamaican place called Eatz On The Corner. It serves American dishes and Jamaican meals. Been here dozens of times and it has always been good. I had the shrimp and grits. Wife had the curry. Everything it so flavorful. My wife got a side of rice and I have never tasted rice like that. It was so good. Our motto is we can’t leave Pine Mountsin until we go to Eatz.
