I've seen several cream soup starter recipes on YT. I've been meaning to make one up to keep on hand, but never got around to it. That's more of a powder base.
But I do keep a package on dehydrated veggies on hand for adding to things. It has a nice flavor to it.

Warm water lobster like we have? As in no claws?It's Lobster Season here in Caracas at the moment. The restaurant I cooked at last month is doing a special lobster menu; lobster rolls in a brioche bun, lobster Thermidor, lobster vermicelli, lobster grill...
I think I might just see whether me and the wife can get down there for a faceful of lovely lobster...
