What did you cook or eat today (September 2021)?

Freshly made porcini pasta with fresh frozen porcinis made into a sauce with white wine, thyme, butter and pasta water.

At our sons last night for family dinner, a new fish n chip shop out there, with good reviews.
10/10 the chips were really fluffy the meat pattie was the best I’ve ever had and fish also. All good comments from everyone. We will go again.

Good to have a night off cooking.

Lunch snack, it’s 1.40 here but daylight saving kicked in the weekend, so my bodies only saying lunchtime.
Pastrami and chow sammich.

I’ve got a new I pad , I haven’t worked out how to take a pic yet, it has a rubber backing that doesn’t appear to come off, I will keep trying. I mean.....how hard can it be?

It's strange the different tastes in different countries. I would never even consider adding brown sauce to a beef steak (nor a ketchup either).

Never ketchup..but HP occasionally...I will eat it with pot pie also, but rarely have it..

The stars aligned today for me, just me so everything was here, so I made a club Sammy,
Bread butter mustard ham tomato’s and p, bread butter mayo lettuce mashed free range egg with curry powder in it.
