What did you cook or eat today (September 2025)?

Any home made paste left?
No, ate that one pretty much non stop. I just today picked up a whole roasted chicken so it looks like time to make more paste. I've literally got a drawer full of chili's from my garden.

Mr SSOAP’s Chicken Fricassee. He’s called it ‘chicken fricken cat’ since I’ve known him so I didn’t know what is really was. Then I remembered his penchant for off the wall word play and managed to deduce ‘frickencat’ and fricassee sound similar and thats how his mind works BINGO!

Reminds of the food truck in 'Vegas, "Stray Cat BBQ".

It's such an easy meal.
I'm sure Barriehie and some others (vernplum comes to mind) would like it

I found this recipe for chicken pat prik khing. I'm looking in my True Thai recipe book by Victor Sodsook and it has a classic red curry paste recipe that I've made before so I'll make that one. I can't find a recipe for pat prik khing in there or maybe it's spelled differently.

Bit late in the day to start grinding out curry paste so I'll start that tomorrow morning.
