What did you cook today (April 2021)?

Coffee the early one at 7 am, cheese (Lucca local one) really good, bit more grassy or mustardy taste, love it, almonds and apple. Starving, can't wait for brunch and second coffee. And thirsty. It is the season to carry water bottles along again.
Lovely bushes along the way...

My first piece of New Zealand beef fillet of the month.

And it was excellent.

I had ordered another 2 kg fillet for delivery tomorrow but my supply is in hospital with problems with his foot again

I've found a place where it's $20 nz per kg, halal as well, I have three fillets cut up into steak sizes. I believe nz is pretty good on the stage with the best available, IMHO.

Rolled shoulder of lamb (boned by moi) with breadcrumb stuffing. I will serve with cauliflower cheese sauce and gravy along with veges.
Stuffing
Breadcrumbs, cooked onions along with butter they were cooked in, sage, parsley, one egg and one squeezed mandarin juice. Combine and fill and roll lamb. Tie with string.
