That fermented one sounds good! I grew a boatload of cucumbers this year and have about a gallon I fermented.I'm being given a bunch of turnips tomorrow (as in a lot rather than one tied bunch) and may make some MidEast brine fermented pickled turnips with beetroot. Also may make turnip, walnut, chili and cumin salad saved many moons back and never tried - still looks good.![]()

Never grated. I put them in the pot and after they've boiled a few minutes I'll smash some with a bean masher.Have you grated tomatoes?
I recently discovered grating tomatoes to get the flesh for a sauce and love it. More so than scoring and boiling them a bit.
