Booze run today.

Went to a Japanese supermarket today while waiting for my daughter and picked up some random items:
Clockwise from top left: sesame dressing, furikake, pizza sauce, fried scallions in oil, parmesan shaker.

The furikake is useful in packs like this because you get little sachets which are usually more than enough for me to use in one meal on some fried rice, white rice or something. Japan is full of stuff like this with pop culture characters on. This guy is Crayon Shinchan and he has some really crazy/funny/puerile cartoons (which often end with him exposing his buttocks) but there's all kinds like Rilakkuma, Hello Kitty, Doraemon etc.

It does look small for the price. A little goes a long way though.I went to buy some furikake from Ocado. Then I saw the price and didn’t!

It wasn’t on special offer when I went to buy it, but even reduced to £4 still seems absurd!
Yes it is a small bottle and the ingredients in it are very cheap, mind you the ‘Clearspring’ brand is always pricey. It does look small for the price. A little goes a long way though.

That sounds more like it!That is a little bit on the expensive side, but it is incurring the 'it's organic' tax. The pack I bought is also 50g nett and it cost SGD $3.90 which is just over 2 quid and I found it here for £2.39
