You and Badjak are partly responsible for my crop of tomatoes, I took your advice and had the Castile soap mix ready to go. As soon as I spied some greenfly I sprayed away! So thanks for that 😊

Then I was helped out further by more ladybirds appearing than I’ve ever seen, they had a mighty chow down on the vast numbers of them in the hedging around the house 👍

Is that cider alcoholic? Or is it just apple juice?
It’s nonalcoholic, but it’s classed apple cider here. Here, there’s a distinct difference between apple cider and apple juice - both nonalcoholic. There’s a long topic on the whole subject here somewhere. The alcoholic version is simply called “cider” here…unless it’s applejack. :laugh:

Ok I looked it up. It's basically apple juice with pulp and other unfiltered bits.
 
Granulated maple sugar sounds interesting 🤔
I use powdered maple sugar in my BBQ dry rub. Along powdered honey and powdered molasses.
