I do hope I like it as those dried fava beans are just the same price as standard white or brown beans here
They're way more expensive here but I get it. Morelo's Market is the only place in town with them and they only had 4 bags on the shelf so that's that; now they've three...

I think they are tricky to cook. The delicate ones I mean. They can flop like a sad wet rag if you cook them in oil a tad too long.

Mushrooms fare well air-fried I've found. I've had success even without adding any oil - I just get them going a bit at 180c until they start to sweat then toss them in a bowl with some S&P then continue till done.

I don't have an air fryer but something similar (halogen cooker) and will try that. My method at the moment is a tiny bit of oil in a wok or frying pan and clamp a lid on. Cook for 5 mins or even less.
