I had one before last week, it’s soft once you cube and bake.I hope it's okay inside. When I grew beets, if they got too big, they were kind of woody inside.

Making menudo?Pippi was about out of beef jerky and I needed some more trotters and tripe. View attachment 137396
It's even better when the juice drips across the floor...A big smile and laugh for Pippi,
But a definite NO to tripe.
Just the smell alone ..
That's not enough beer...I did a full supermarket shop today:
2 kgs spaghetti
1 kg penne
2 pkts canneloni
Ricotta cheese
spinach
Apio (I mentioned this in "root vegetables" the other day)
1 kg peeled garlic
1 kilo fresh ginger
mixed leaves
2 kgs potatoes
tomatoes
aubergines
Caulifower
Broccoli
4 pkts biscuits (oreo, etc)
Sweetcorn
Tuna
Anchovies
Oil
Merlot
6 pack of beer
Now it's time to get cooking...
