Seemed appropriate, since I mowed the grass today, even if it was a blustery 60f/15c.
Very nice, very prominent banana-clove-biscuit taste, reminded me very much of a filtered hefeweizen.

That’s the classic taste profile of a good hefe…I would be very concerned if my beer tasted of bananas, or cloves, or biscuits...

Sadly, the one thing I had really wanted to do whilst back in the UK, was to try some of hotel chocolat's vegan range and I didn't manage to do that.
they were just starting out with it when we left the UK.

Hotel Chocolat do do good chocolate but there's a little bit of 'kings clothes' going on with it IMO. Its price tag is a bit steep for what you get.Sadly, the one thing I had really wanted to do whilst back in the UK, was to try some of hotel chocolat's vegan range and I didn't manage to do that.
Higher end I'd rather spend my money with these guys. I found them about a year ago in a Guardian article about good chocolate.
I think their chocolate is better and I'm inclined to believe their ethical statements. Although it's a small range 6 of their bars are vegan
