So this is vegetarian and dairy free of you use vegan yoghurt. If you only the eggs yolks, it will be vegan.
If you go down there rolls route, expect it to take longer than the lasagna route.

1 large aubergine (+750g)
Extra virgin olive oil
1 Small-medium onion, finely chopped

This recipe is a healthier version of beef lasagna, with the addition of yogurt and a smaller amount of cheese. It’s also a great option for single people or couples - it makes a smaller amount, so you get some leftovers without having to eat the same lasagna for a week and a half. This recipe...

Don't know where you were eating over here, but it's really not that usual here at all. In fact, most Italian restaurants don't serve chips (fries) at all.
I like making the minis because they are 1–2 servings each depending on how hungry you are. Everyone can have or not have additions to the basic cheese layers, sauce, and noodles.

This is a kicked up version of my wife's excellent veggie and ricotta lasagna. I have replaced most of the veggies with a meat sauce and added some cheese varieties and other flavor notes. If you prefer ground beef then use it. We use pork because of an intolerance to beef on my wife's part...
Does anyone have anything they think for me to make an authentic lasagna, I can giggle but I would like first hand tips.
Miss 12 is here for a few days and we are making it tomorrow. I have 1 kg of beef mince out, heap of tomatoes (tinned) milk etc. I’m making a proper bechamel sauce.

Hi all,
I prepared lasagna casserole today but won't bake it until tomorrow. I've always baked it right after assembly so I'm not sure what to do.
Do I bring it to room temperature before putting in preheated oven?
Do I put it in oven while it's heating up to temperature?
Thanks in advance,
MJ
Hi! I´m a meat eater but I like vegetarian dishes. A recent visit to a pig farm was literally appalling so I guess the only pork I´ll eat in the future is Christmas ham. We tend to have minced beef in the fridge way too often so I tried the following self-made vegetarian lasagne recipe today...
Ciao everyone,
I believe that I have mentioned Lasagne Di Carnevale in a previous post. Now there is Lasagne and then there is Lasagne Carnevale. My family simply cannot get enough of it! Again as with most Napulitano dishes there must be hundreds of versions if not thousands. Suffice to say...
I was reading a thread on another forum where someone suggested using polenta that had been cooled on a sheet pan and cut into strips, as a sub for pasta sheets in lasagna. They claim they have done this and it came out good. I'm thinking that any liquid would turn the polenta to mush during...
This is not my recipe. I pulled it from Simply Recipes Food and Cooking Blog
I didn't change up too much from the recipe. I also didn't use precise measurements. I used dried basil vs fresh basil. I have a smaller pan. I used a few noodles fewer than what they called for.
Otherwise the dish...
This is a knock-off of a lasagna made years ago by an Italian-American chain of restaurants called Macaroni Grill. I decided to give it a try one time when Craig had been away for a while on an overseas business trip. He LOVED it! I don't make it often because it's such a production, but it's...
I had to go into work early today for a wasted meeting. Since it wasn't busy I was able to leave early. I thought I would give my hand at making lasagna. Colleen makes a fantastic lasagna. No way could I replicate that. I decided to go a different direction.

Lasagna pasta and ramen two completely different pasta's I know but I thought I would save some space on here to just ask about both on this post. When it comes to making pasta I know the main ingredients for both is water, salt, and flour. I heard in order to make the best ramen it requires you...
@morning glory, this is what I told you to hang onto the achiote for. I made the dish but only partially cooked 1/2 a recipe, which will be finished for a meal later in the week. Based on the sauce, I decided it is a winner! The recipe calls for cooking lasagna noodles, but I used Barilla no...
