Raw onion - yeh! I can see your fingerprints in that cheese - or is that just how American cheese looks?

American cheese comes in a few varieties. Some of them much drier than others.

Yep, and unfortunately, they all get lumped together as “American cheese” - the proper stuff, like Land-O-Lakes and Deli Deluxe, is worlds apart from that cellophane-wrapped bright orange shiny stuff.

I do like the looks of that bologna. Looks like a summer sausage.

I just had some garlic ring baloney a couple weeks ago. I love being able to cut it to thickness. Fried or right out of the fridge. It has it's place in my sandwich rotation.
