Sandwiches

I LOVE seeded rye. Sourdough seeded rye is a favorite, but hard to find these days. Bakeries don't usually have it either. :sad:
I'd make it for you if you lived closer. I make an awesome sourdough pumpernickel. I am sure I could pull off a seeded rye, I just wouldn't eat any. It's only the caraway seeds I don't like in rye bread. Not sure if they use other seeds in commercial or traditional rye breads?

Edited to add I just found a recipe that used flax, sesame, sunflower, and pumpkin seeds. No caraway. I could eat that.

I like caraway seeds. I use them and fennel seeds in a pork chop recipe.
 
You mean no bread? Well I can eat them raw with some salt and pepper but I don't think I would put mayo on a "naked" tomato...not that there's anything wrong with that!
That’s one of MrsT’s favorite summertime treats - slices of tomato, salted and peppered and dolloped liberally with mayonnaise.
