The CookingBites recipe challenge: chickpeas (garbanzo beans)

I use canned chickpeas and throw away the juice.
I only buy them with no added salt or sugar, (same with all beans), so if in using tinned, the liquid is usually just added as stock. It is apparently quite nutritious (if it's that no added salt/sugar version).

I don’t know if they have salt or sugar or not, I never checked, tbh. I only eat the beans and drained the juice.

the salt and sugar ends up in the beans, so personally I would be checking.
they are 'blander' without but I prefer it
