Our azalea is looking lovely
I haven't seen many bees yet. Usually when the clover blooms and then it's mostly bumblebees. The bees are loving the lavender in our front garden![]()

I've got a bunch, about 4500, wildflower seeds I need to strew about I just haven't figured where yet.The bee population has been a bit low so we are doing what we can to encourage them.
If you would have cut them a bit higher, they keep coming back.I had a few green onions that overwintered in my garden, they were just the perfect amount I needed for my salad at lunch!

I know, but these particular ones have been coming back for several years now, and I’m planning to solarize the soil there this year (I’ve got a fungal disease in the soil that I’m hoping this will get rid of). I figured I might as well use em while I can!If you would have cut them a bit higher, they keep coming back.
I use them as chives
Solarizing is good! I checked that out where I planted my garlic to kill a particular grass/weed. In the peak of the day it was 70 °C under there! Only thing that came back was the green onions and I'm okay with that.I know, but these particular ones have been coming back for several years now, and I’m planning to solarize the soil there this year (I’ve got a fungal disease in the soil that I’m hoping this will get rid of). I solarized a portion of the soil last year, and I’m doing another section this year. The bit that I solarized last year has hardly any weeds coming up now compared to the other parts of the garden, so I’m hoping it did the trick.Solarizing is good! Could be phytophtera, maybe pythiumI solarized a portion of the soil last year, and I’m doing another section this year. The bit that I solarized last year has hardly any weeds coming up now compared to the other parts of the garden, so I’m hoping it did the trick.
The fungal disease showed up in 2020 and it’s super annoying - I’ve lost several tomato plants to it each year. They grow normally for a bit, then the stem starts to shrivel at the base, and the whole plant wilts and dies. Plants just a few feet away will be unaffected.
