I find that when poaching if I use a spatula to flip water on the egg, like you're frying it, they cook evenly and quickly.
Let’s see it.
My MIL bought me a similar one awhile back. It's not the same as poached. But yours is a better quality pan and having the stainless fry pan is nice.View attachment 135028

$20USD stainless steel and can be used as a fry pan also.
All parts are dishwasher safe, YAY and for the price, if I hate it, it goes to the charity shop and I won't cry about it.
I can never soft-boil an egg to my liking, but I have no issue with turning out (what I think are) perfectly fine poached eggs.Soft boiling eggs is quite easy. Poaching takes a bit of practice and eggs must be super fresh.
I can buy 2 weeks of groceries for that...Well, done and done.
Ordered both Egg Poacher & Digital Scale, either were horribly expensive so if they're trash, off to the charity shop they go.
I will report back on they're performance.
