I find that when poaching if I use a spatula to flip water on the egg, like you're frying it, they cook evenly and quickly.

$20USD stainless steel and can be used as a fry pan also.
All parts are dishwasher safe, YAY and for the price, if I hate it, it goes to the charity shop and I won't cry about it.

My MIL bought me a similar one awhile back. It's not the same as poached. But yours is a better quality pan and having the stainless fry pan is nice.

Soft boiling eggs is quite easy. Poaching takes a bit of practice and eggs must be super fresh.

I can never soft-boil an egg to my liking, but I have no issue with turning out (what I think are) perfectly fine poached eggs.

Well, done and done.
Ordered both Egg Poacher & Digital Scale, either were horribly expensive so if they're trash, off to the charity shop they go.
I will report back on they're performance.

A bit late to the party, but we had an egg poacher like that
It works but is not the same as a "normal" poached egg. It's more like a steamed egg.
All that remains of it now are the 'egg holders", which I use to measure out rice and as oversized spoons

I had one, not sure what happened to it. I just remember it didn’t dishwasher well so was quickly relegated to the back of the shelf, WHAT? wash it up by hand, madness

It’s in Spanish for crying out loud!! Oh well, I washed by hand and dried as per the included instructions - dishwasher safe my beep!!!
We’ll give her a whirl tomorrow.

I can do a dozen at a time.

Me too. I've got my tried and it works method down pat without venturing another path. Plus, I hate buying plastic wrap. That crap wants to stick to everything and NOT stay in a nice rectangular/usable piece once I tear it off.

I hear that.
I am pretty particular about the plastic wrap I use, and Glad definitely changed something. That stuff can't be moved from point A to point B without it folding in half. And I've been using it for probably 25 years.
