What did you cook/eat today (December 2016)?

This arrived yesterday - made by kids from a local vocational college. The icing is soft which I thought was strange. I shall not be eating any though.

I'm not certain I've uploaded my birthday cake made by my husband...

Chocolate olive oil cake served with a raw chocolate coconut ice cream, some hazelnut and orange cookies and soya cream. (quick snap on my tablet camera so not great quality normally though this seems ok)

Another beans on toast here.
 
I must say I have never done beans on toast. However, we do eat beans over cornbread.
Different type of beans though.
Your beans look like our pork n beans which are commonly made into Boston Baked Beans.
 
Today we went out for a 3 course lunch so neither of us were particularly hungry so we have just had a light bite, ciabbata, blacksticks blue cheese, brie and some pickle. We still have some brie left.

I think its one of those peculiar Brit things. Bonkers!
 
I can get Heinz baked beans here as well. It comes in 2 varieties, British recipe and Australian recipe. More sugar in the British recipe and ironically we both prefer the Aussie one! But I haven't been able to get the weight watchers version which we actually prefer. Oh well.
