What did you cook or eat today: August 2025?

So talk me through that; how was it? :D
Not as hot as I thought. I've been been working on upping my chili game and it's working. The sweet was good since it played well with the hot and I think it took some of the 🔥 off the initial mouth feel. All in all good. When I'm out I'll go back to Buc-ee's and get more. They've several and this time I left with the hottest so next time I'll get a variety. 👍

Recipe? Picture? Sounds wet. Never made one.
No pictures, no recipe, not wet. I had found skinless boneless chicken breasts for $1.99 lb. I bought 2 large packages, along with some Swiss cheese and ham. I trimmed them up and froze the scraps for soup. The chicken breasts were large, so I sliced them horizontally in half. My husband pounded them out flat in between 2 vinyl cutting mats 1 at a time. He put a slice of Black forest ham and a slice of Swiss cheese on top of a breast, then rolled it up in a piece of plastic wrap tightly, twisting the ends. I placed them in 2 large ziplocks and into the freezer. We made 16. It's easier with two people. My DH did most of the work. I did the trimming, setup, tore off the plastic sheets, and I took care of the cleanup.

It's one of the few ways I'll eat ham.
