What did you cook or eat today: August 2025?

This is our first time at this restaurant, and they have some creative stuff.

I’ve mentioned in the past how spaghetti sandwiches are a Midwest staple - we’re not in the Midwest, of course, but just next door…they have a juiced-up version of a spaghetti sandwich on the menu - spaghetti grilled cheese.

MrsT ordered that and said it’s one of the best things she’s ever eaten. I had a bite and it’s definitely very, very good.

I had a taco salad with 4-bean spicy chili. Also excellent.
 
This is the best macaroni salad I've ever had.
So good, it will be even better after it marries.

Eli and I just had some ribs. Chef at her work knows I like them. Wanted my opinion?
Meat was moist but sauce needs work. More brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce. Imo.

I'm making a homemade pot pie. Chicken, onion, garlic, celery, carrots, potatoes, corn and peas with a creamy sauce baked in a buttery bottom and top cust.

Edit: that was good!
