What did you cook or eat today: August 2025?

We decided against gravy, the Turkey was so moist and tasty on it's own, still crisp-tender Sugar Snap Peas, naked, and the Potatoes came out yummy!
I had enough to make up a take-away plate for my Mom too.
I have a another tenderloin as they call it, leftover that I think I'll morph into my own version of Tetrazzini with that gravy, Egg Noodles and some added veg, no dairy product though.

You've just reminded me that I have some frozen Ahi tuna in my freezer, and I always have nori and sushi rice on hand (and scallions in my garden--the only thing growing in it ATM, LOL). Maybe tomorrow I will go get some kewpie and a cucumber and make some hand rolls!

I could send you pounds of cucumbers ATM. Having to make chutney again tomorrow.

Ah, but I am wanting the English seedless variety, as I don't peel them and the skin on the English cucumber is tender and delicious...plus they are less watery. The one thing I don't like about the seedless though is that they don't keep as long as the ones I grew up eating and used to buy.
