What did you cook or eat today: August 2025?

I am sure it's much better than WC.
NO! Never!, that's kind of the point. Yes, mine uses higher-quality ingredients, but that's why WC tastes so good; everything they use contributes to the overall flavor profile. Mine are really good, but there is just something about OG White Castle's that are better.

Have you guys ever heard of an old school (like 40's, 50's) drink that is chilled Worcestershire sauce? I love the stuff, but that seems super hardcore, do drink it.

I’m glad to hear someone else acknowledge that some things, even if they are “low-quality” and mass-produced, are still worthy of praise.

I wince every time I’m hear some cooking show idiot talk about how they’re “gonna show you my improved, gourmet version of a Big Mac!” - fine…get all the wagyu beef you want, and the artisanal pickles and homemade special sauce and all that…but unless it tastes exactly like a Big Mac, it ain’t a Big Mac!

:highfive:

I'm in agreement there. I love a ¼ pounder with cheese. Yes, I could probably eat one every day. I love to buy them with my son and his wife, because they don't like the pickles - so I get them.
Yes - it's mass-produced, it's probably/possibly crappy food, but I love it. No regrets.

Says the guy who doesn't like beef! I guess we all have our guilty pleasures, LOL.

Leftover pasta bake from the freezer, and for dessert homemade vanilla ice cream with homemade raspberry sauce
