Because we have a fast food place called White Castle. I think they started the slider thing many years ago.
I dont like them because of thousand island dressing, sauerkraut, and rye bread with caraway seeds. I'd have to make it just a smidge of sauerkraut (or none), mayo and mustard instead of thousand island, and pumpernickel bread. So that makes it not a reuben.

Wife loves them. Iām not that frazy about Ruebenās.
Their first restaurant looked like a castle. I canāt remember the whole story. Their employees wore white clothes.
Krystalās tries hard to be like White Castle. As with both. People either love them or hate them.
