Salad tonight, with our current-favorite herbed vinaigrette (it’s chock full o’ fresh herbs!), and homemade peach pie for dessert…peaches are at their perfection right now.

Well I guess mine will be growing a lot since it will be more than 10 hours between the time I make the batter to the time I make the waffles.

That’s maybe 1-1/4 cups of vinaigrette, and there are 5 tablespoons of fresh herbs in there.

Thank you! I usually add some of that flavoring I posted and occasionally a dash of turmeric for color. Never hurts to actually add corn either!

There’s a bakery in the city centre called The Grumpy Bakers (anything but grumpy) and I have tried their seeded sourdough for lunch today. Oh what a bread!

It's been an additional overnight since making this and wow is it thick!Nothing fancy but creme fraiche is stupid pricey. No way I'm paying $128'ish/gallon...
I bought a pint of heavy cream, $5.49, and after warming it up stirred in a huge blob of yogurt and wrapped it in a towel overnight on the counter. You can kind of see where the spoon went in, nice and thick.
Kind of about like almost room temperature cream cheese.
