Well I guess mine will be growing a lot since it will be more than 10 hours between the time I make the batter to the time I make the waffles.When I make my yeasted waffles I mix it up the night before so the batter typically gets around 10 hours to "grow".

Thank you! I usually add some of that flavoring I posted and occasionally a dash of turmeric for color. Never hurts to actually add corn either!I saw yours, they looked nice!

It's been an additional overnight since making this and wow is it thick!Nothing fancy but creme fraiche is stupid pricey. No way I'm paying $128'ish/gallon...
I bought a pint of heavy cream, $5.49, and after warming it up stirred in a huge blob of yogurt and wrapped it in a towel overnight on the counter. You can kind of see where the spoon went in, nice and thick.
