Those coals were easily 1,000F/540C. You can't get that kind of heat on a normal stove.

Definitely not unless I'm cooking wrapped into flames...:laugh:
I've had a look on their balcony BBQ but it's still too big for mine and costs a lot.

My neighbour has just said hello :wave:. BBQ soon!

I made an omelet for hubby and I to split for breakfast.

I then cleaned all my counters and deep cleaned my stove. I found a few pounded chicken bits from hubby's cordon bleu prep, LOL. Oh, I have found that a bit of rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle really helps remove the grease after scrubbing the stove with a sponge and soap. I used to use cleaning vinegar and it was good, but the alcohol cuts through the grease more effectively.
 
Jealous, Belize is on my to do list
They’re slowly coming back…a lack of tourism really hurt the economy. They are also the only county in the region that wasn’t “red” for travel safety. Unlike parts of my country, they take COVID safety seriously.
