What did you cook or eat today (March 2023)?

So you fry pickles/ gerkins? I'm preserving mine atm. I've done about 12 jars

Dredge sliced pickles in seasoned flour, and deep fry them until you have a crispy crust. Yum!

Ok I can see that working, I try with my pickled gerkins.

Language thing. Gherkins are one type of pickled cucumber in the US. I think all Pickled cucumbers in NZ are called gherkins. Gherkin here is small -- about the size of my thumb. The dill pickles I fried are made from full size cucumbers that are sliced, like the pickles used on sandwiches or burgers.
