Fish pie for dinner so far. Poached the fish(hake) in milk. Used the poaching milk to make fresh parsley sauce, Added the hake pieces and halved boiled eggs to the sauce. Mashed potatoes to be added then baked. Pics tomorrow of finished plate View attachment 50708View attachment 50709
Aw, this reminds me of my grandmother's pike dish. She cooked a pike in a large pan with onions and spices, drained and removed the fish bones and added a white sauce made of cooking broth, cream/milk, dill and crumbled boiled eggs. She didn't poach the fish in milk or add parsley, though.

We had shrimp pasta and chicken leftovers for dinner.

That parsley sauce took me right back to my childhood, I'm retching ATM. TRIPE!!
