My meal last night. Bread and olives followed by chicken pie, mash and veg.

This morning, breakfast was three sunny-side up eggs (clobbered), breakfast sausage and a hash brown patty.

Char Sui steamed buns for lunch

A simple puff pastry galette with ricotta, cherry toms, black olives, provola and oregano filling

A sort of dessert made with ricotta, blueberries, grated dark chocolate and crumbled Amaretti, no sugar added but just a bit of dates syrup

Time for another smoothie, - kiwi strawberry smoothie.

So to finish our anniversary weekend it was my turn;

Smoked salmon and prawn parcels.

Beef cheeks in red wine. (Tori & Ben's beef naturally), with our first leek from the garden.

Keeping the pud simple with profiteroles.

Now to retire with a bottle of rum cask aged red wine and chocolates.

I think kiwis are underrated. I'm not sure why, as they are pretty when sliced and taste interesting. I like the slight fizz they have.
