Yes we have gyros but I’ve noticed our use of the word from different countries can be different (although similar) so I wondered what gyro meat was because thats not something you can purchase raw here.Do you have gyros, or do you call them something else?
Recipe - Gyro homemade!Whats gyro meat?
Right, I'd assume it's cooked if you can find it, though I've never seen it sold alone. I've only ever bought a pre-made sandwich or made the meat myself. Given your love of sandwich meat, I've a feeling you'll be making your own.Yes we have gyros but I’ve noticed our use of the word can be different (although similar) so I wondered what gyro meat was because thats not something you can purchase raw here.
What we purchased isn't raw. It's Halal and just needs to be warmed. It was in the freezer in the meat department of a huge butcher type market.Yes we have gyros but I’ve noticed our use of the word from different countries can be different (although similar) so I wondered what gyro meat was because thats not something you can purchase raw here.
Ah yes I remember but I was thrown by “purchased gyro meat”

We had a place like that in Southern AZ, it was divine!! Mom & I would go there for lunch probably twice a month...Was a Mediterranean I think it was restaurant in 'Vegas had these large vertical "spikes" that rotated next to an electric element and when you ordered gryo whatever that's what they cut the meat off of. It was layers of slices with seasonings that was probably 2’ high. Meat heaven...
Yes, and Mexican style al pastor, similar but different seasoning and spices of course. Or Lebanese shawarma? Don't Brazilians have something like that too?Was a Mediterranean I think it was restaurant in 'Vegas had these large vertical "spikes" that rotated next to an electric element and when you ordered gryo whatever that's what they cut the meat off of.
