Outstanding, both photo and tart..
At first glance I thought they were pears instead of apples.
I'm a fan of sweet / salty combinations (but not too much), and figs, apples and brie cheese definitely have my attention ..

Thank you. You reminded me I haven't posted the (simple) recipe. It was a little over sweet for my taste - but that's probably me.

I managed to salvage (almost) my cocked up gnoochi by adding chopped raw onions and pan frying it. Served with a sausage roll and poached duck egg.

I finally figured out how to post here! Yaay

So this was my breakfast, an oatmeal apple pie made with whole grains and served with unsweetened greek yoghurt. One of my favorite family recipes, if you're nice I might make a thread on it. As it is a fairly grey rainy day here, I felt the weather call for autumn spices and apples.
