I just got a text from my daughter a few seconds ago. She has been trying to adopt her stepson for two years. It finally went through.

Tomorrow we pick up an indoor, 2 tier cage, we will then purchase an outdoor hutch with run so they will be indoor and outdoor dependant on the weather.

We bought Guinea pigs for the kids when they were real young, our cat killed them. Kids were distraught. Lol

Thank you. It is a big deal. Her stepson is going on 5. He hasn't seen his biological mom since he was 1. My daughter is his mom.

It's good to know where we all come from and can relate to it. My family tree (written chart) goes back hundreds of years. Back to 3 brothers immigrating to New Zealand in the 1800s from Cornwall.uk.
In 98 I went to the family plots and got a feel for my ancestors. Surprising how much is in our dna.
