I saw HP Sauce in Kroger today. I just caught it out of the corner of my eye. That was a surprise.

I mostly just bought my normal day-to-day food stuff, but I did also by some portobellos.

This is our whitebait. The best available from south westland. Fetches $120 ,kg in Auckland. I pay/swap for $60 kg. I'm cooking 1 kg for tomorrow race day.

Make patties. Will give me about 40

I would have thought you'd have had them in the UK - they're a traditional thing - deep fried, breaded or in batter; classic pub food. Served with tartare sauce (more often mayo these days).

Juices are big with me. I like a wide variety of beverages.

So, I get a couple bottles of juice almost always when I go for groceries.

I once had them in Greece, served with Tzatziki. Delicious!

Here's something I just received that is worth having for a lot of different things, - lemon curd.

Lemon curd has oodles of applications in baking, to be sure, but can also be used in desserts, spreads and even marinades. And its uses likely go beyond that too, with some creativity.

I've eaten various "bugs" in my travels and they're pretty good for what they are. I suspect insects et al will be a very nutritious source of protein going forward for the whole world. It's cheap and responsible, cheap being the catalyst.
