Here you go. These are the loin chops; simply air-fried medium rare with a bit of S&P. It was amazing: super tender (well most lamb is tender, lol) but this had just enough chew to make it satisfying for the jaw, but soft and succulent enough that you could tell it had some pedigree. What struck me the most was the tastiness of the fat - savoury in itself without feeling oily.

Gonna get some more.

That's the ones I use for tandoori cutlets.
Thanks

I love Sempio brand Korean products! 👏
It definitely tastes and smells much better than other brands we've been able to get hold of, but i can only get it through iHerb bringing it in from the US it seems. I'll have to have a good hunt because that cost 3 times the price of the same available locally not (including postage). I don't mind paying more for something that i use half the quantity of, but it is such a small container (450g 1lb)

I've never seen it any other size except in a Korean store.

A few goodies came out way today.

There were a few spices in was out of, 1 in particular, mace blades is proving impossible to find, but i did finally find ground mace, so that will have to do. They had a sale on and I needed to get to a certain price for free postage. P&P is $25 here, so it's worth spending $25 to get it free... hence one or two of the items.

I've only had the privilege of eating Stone Crab once in my life, when we took a cross-country road trip to Key West.
Got the first batch of the season, right off the boat ... HEAVEN!!
Oh wait... I did have them one other time many, many, many years ago and an old thyme "Rat Pack" sort of restaurant in Phoenix, what a gas that place was, and it was someone else's treat! "Order whatever you want, it's on me!"
OKAY!!

I remember watching ‘Saturday Ktichen’ one week and as the presenter said “ooo mandolin’s are dangerous” the chef slicing away said “yes they can be but you just have to be careful” as he sliced straight into his finger 🫣
He took it in good humour and there was lots of laughter but by jove that bled A LOT! 😂
