Yesterday we did our monthly trip to Bookers. Apart from the usual items we scored a pack of Wagyu beef burgers, six for £10.99. It seemed decent value for money as they were twice as thick as most regular burgers, around 2cm/1inch thick.

We have recently discovered these in our local Makro.........

My Western food supplier has today informed me that there will be no produce from Asda or Tesco (UK) for several months. He normally orders in hundreds but they have limited "on-line" supplies to 3 items per order.

I didn't buy this, my wife did. She came home last night and handed me a small jar of this and said, you use this don't you, to which I replied, hell yeah, she said I know I've heard you mention it so I bought it. Lol. She has no idea what I use. I buy this frozen in .5 kg bags for the freezer. But I will use this next time I do Thai red curry.
