What would you choose?

Well if his goal was to impress you by his good taste, he certainly succeeded, didn't he?

I think all appetizers for me. I'd like the duck Scotch egg, the scallops, the brie croquettes, salmon Caesar salad, and a few glasses of pinot grigio.

It is a lovely place, the food is good. We have been back a few times, it is a good atmosphere.

If a diner and a 1950’s supper club had a baby, it would be this place.

What is a 1950's supper club?
Think lots of wood paneling, deep leather booths, dark interior, piano bar or a little jazz trio in the corner, with lots of people drinking old-fashioneds and eating things like Delmonico steaks…the sort of place where you’d see Frank Sinatra hanging out around 1959.

Used to be, any town of a decent size had a supper club, but they sort of fell out of style in the 1980’s, though there are still some around. Supper clubs are our venue of choice for our Christmas/New Year’s meal out each year.
