What would you choose?

Well if his goal was to impress you by his good taste, he certainly succeeded, didn't he?

I think all appetizers for me. I'd like the duck Scotch egg, the scallops, the brie croquettes, salmon Caesar salad, and a few glasses of pinot grigio.

It is a lovely place, the food is good. We have been back a few times, it is a good atmosphere.

If a diner and a 1950’s supper club had a baby, it would be this place.

What is a 1950's supper club?
Think lots of wood paneling, deep leather booths, dark interior, piano bar or a little jazz trio in the corner, with lots of people drinking old-fashioneds and eating things like Delmonico steaks…the sort of place where you’d see Frank Sinatra hanging out around 1959.

Used to be, any town of a decent size had a supper club, but they sort of fell out of style in the 1980’s, though there are still some around. Supper clubs are our venue of choice for our Christmas/New Year’s meal out each year.

I'd go the one vegetarian pizza. I happen to dislike any kind of meat on pizza. Sadly, no fish options.

The mind boggles at the concept of pizza with kit kat and dulce de leche!

The veggie offering was, well, poor in my opinion. Sweet corn, onions, tinned sliced olives and that was about it.
Not an anchovy in sight! And I love anchovies on a pizza.

I like anchovies on pizza as well.
I see no olives and capers either.
I would try most of those, although I am not too sure what to do with belly pork or nachos on a pizza.
And no chicken on my pizza please (happy with ham & salami though, or even bacon)
