Oh dear, oh dear. Thursday morning I woke up with some awful 24 hour bug that's been doing the rounds, so I broke all my own rules and had sugar - a piece of Christmas cake with thick icing for breakfast, sweet stuff for lunch, and not much in the evening :whistling:
Friday, it was back to normal - the last of the panettone with coffee for breakfast, a cheese sarnie for lunch (not toasted this time because I was keeping an eye on the bloke replacing the car windscreen outside on my drive) plus a latte, and Swiss chard saag aloo with steamed rice, cucumber, grated carrot, and yoghurt (and left over onion bhajis from Wednesday) for dinner. I couldn't manage to eat all of it, so guess what I'll be having for lunch tomorrow :laugh: Supper was a large mug of drinking chocolate.
