I supervised the design and building of it myself 16 years ago. Excluding the land upon which it is built the cost was in the order of Sterling 13,000.00. Quite a bargain really.

I'm afraid that since then not only have building prices increased significantly but the Sterling/Baht exchange has plummeted. To build the same house now would probably be in the region of the equivalent of Sterling 25,000.00. Not that it's much consolation but the land price could probably sell for over 3 times what I paid for in in 1999.
