If it were simply an old phone, a hunk of wood, and a bit of natural light…we’d all have photos like that. Yours are magnificent.

You simply have to learn to look. And look objectively. But yeah.. I have the art school background, which helps I s'pose. I still believe most people can take good food photos if they follow a few guidelines. Plating is important too.
