What did you cook/eat today (February 2020)?

Colorful lunch after yesterday's yellow dinner.

Salad with beetroot, avocado, cucumber, goats cheese and bacon topped with honey mustard dressing.

Last week I was pulling weeds from under my garden boxes. Lots of Dandelion look-a-likes. Checked on line and they are edible - leaves only. All parts of the true dandelion are edible. I also found chickweed growing in some of my ornamental plant pots. G grilled a steak. I sauteed some cubed turnips then wilted the greens with the turnips. I made a salad of chickweed, spinach and grape tomatoes. I got a 'LOOK" from George. The "LOOK" went away when he tasted the weeds. Such fun.
